Ground control points help you improve the accuracy of mapping and survey jobs. Dronedesk now allows you to import ground control points into a site plan and I'm going to show you how. On the Manage Job page, choose your Site Plan subsection. Scroll down using the menu on the left to import and import gcps, choose your Ground control point file. You'll notice that on the right hand side your intended imported GCPs will show up and you can choose your coordinate system.
You will notice that you can select and deselect any of these individual ground control points. When you're ready, select Import in the menu on the right hand side you have the opportunity to turn off the labels. Clicking on a ground control point will open up the slider on the left hand side which with details of that particular gcp. You can move the gcps by clicking on the Edit Layers button in the menu on the left hand side.
You can even delete the gcps by clicking on the Delete Layers button and that is the end of the video.
