Apple - using iTunes
When flying with an Apple mobile device, you'll need to connect your mobile device to a Mac computer and access the TXT flight log files from iTunes.
If you haven't installed iTunes on your Windows/Mac computer, then download it here and install it.
Start iTunes.
Connect your phone/tablet to your computer via a Lightning/USB cable.
Click the mobile device icon at the top of iTunes to access the contents of your phone/tablet.
If you're using the current version of iTunes, go to File Sharing > DJI GO 4 (or DJI GO) > FlightRecords and click the "Save to" button (you may need to scroll down to find this) to copy that folder to your computer.
On older version of iTunes, you'll need to access the FlightRecords folder from the "Apps" section of iTunes instead.
Open the FlightRecords folder on your computer and locate the appropriate TXT file(s)
Apple - using Finder
If you're using a Mac computer with an OS that cannot run iTunes (macOS Catalina or higher), you can use Finder to retrieve files from your Apple device.
Connect your phone/tablet to your Mac computer via a Lightning cable.
Open Finder, click your phone/tablet in the left menu (below "Locations"), and click "Files".
Find the version of DJI GO you're using and click and drag the "Flight Records" folder to your desktop.
Android
For Android mobile devices, connect your mobile device to a computer via a USB cable and go to:
DJI GO 3 - "DJI\dji.pilot\FlightRecord"
DJI GO 4 - "DJI\dji.go.v4\FlightRecord"
DJI Fly
"DJI\dji.go.v5\FlightRecord" (for older versions of DJI Fly)
"DJI\dji.go.v5\files\FlightRecord" (for iOS devices)
"Android\data\dji.go.v5\files\FlightRecord" (for Android devices)
If you're using an Android device and the log files aren't visible or you're not able to find a specific log file that should be there, then restart your mobile device. If that doesn't work, you can try to install and run SD Refresh to try and retrieve the file(s).
