# How do I import my data into Dronedesk?

Learn how to import your existing data into Dronedesk using CSV files, saving you time and getting your account set up faster.

If you're **migrating to Dronedesk** from another application or already have your data in spreadsheets, you can easily **import that data** into the system.

To get started, go to the **top right menu**, select **“Settings,”** and then click on **“Data Import.”**

Dronedesk supports imports for a wide range of data types, including:

- Leads

- Clients

- Locations

- Drones

- Maintenance Logs

- Battery Logs

- Jobs

- Risk Assessments

- Pilot Flight Logs

The import process is straightforward:

1. **Download the template file** for the type of data you want to import.

2. Open the file each template includes an **example row** to help you get started.

3. **Populate the template** with your own data.

4. **Save the file**, then upload it using the provided upload form and button.

After uploading, you’ll receive a message confirming whether your records were successfully imported. If there are any errors, an **Excel spreadsheet will download**, detailing what went wrong so you can correct and re upload your data.
