# Can I set notifications for pilots when they're assigned to a job?

Learn how to automatically notify pilots when they’re added to a new job. This video shows you how to enable these notifications to streamline communication and ensure nothing gets missed.

If you'd like your **pilots to receive a notification** when they’re assigned to a job, you can configure this within the system.

1.  Go to the **top right menu**, select **“Settings,”** then click on **“Workflow Configuration”** and navigate to **“Workflow Notifications.”**
    

Here, you'll find a number of **notification options** that enable **email alerts** to be sent to pilots and/or the admin. Simply **check the boxes** for the notifications you want to enable these settings take effect **immediately**.

For example, when a **pilot is assigned to a job**, they’ll receive an email letting them know. That email includes a **direct link to the job** in Dronedesk, making it quick and easy for them to access the relevant details.
