When you want to add a specific method statement to a job in Dronedesk, the process is straightforward.
If you’re creating a new job, go to the New Job form. You’ll see a field labeled Method Statement. Click the dropdown and select the appropriate method statement template for the job. For example, if you have four templates set up, simply choose the one that best applies. In this case, we’ll select the Base method statement.
That’s all there is to it when setting it during job creation.
If you’re working with an existing job, click Edit Job, then scroll down to the Method Statement section. You’ll notice a warning here:
Changing the method statement template will delete and replace the existing method statement on this job.
This means that if the method statement has already been edited by the pilot or admin, any customisations or changes will be overwritten when you switch templates and save the job.
Be sure to consider this before making changes to the method statement on an existing job.
