# How do I rename a Method Statement template?

Keep your templates organised by giving them clear names. This video shows you how to quickly rename a Method Statement.

To **rename a method statement template** in Dronedesk, go to the **top-right menu**, select **Settings**, then click **Method Statements**.

Find the template you want to rename — for example, **“Base Copy Version 2.”** Scroll to the **bottom of the screen**, then click the **Rename** button.

Enter the **new name** for the method statement, then click **Rename**. The page will reload, and you’ll see the updated name reflected in the list — for example, **“New Base.”**

Now, when you go to create a job, the newly renamed method statement will appear in the **method statement dropdown**, ready to be selected.
