# How do I hide the Operational Notes section on jobs?

If you don’t use the Operational Notes section, this video shows you how to disable it for a cleaner job layout.

If you **don’t want the Operational Notes section** to appear on a job in Dronedesk, you can hide it through your **Job Section configuration**, just like any other section.

To do this:

1.  Go to the **top-right menu**, select **Settings**, then click **Job Sections**.
    
2.  For each **job type** (such as Standard, Complex, Simple, etc.), scroll through and **uncheck the box** for **Operational Notes**.
    

If you uncheck it from the **on-screen view**, Dronedesk will automatically uncheck it from the **export options** as well.

Changes are **saved automatically** as you go, so there’s no need to manually save after each update.

Now, when you create a new job, the **Operational Notes section will no longer appear** for that job type.
