For risk assessment scoring, Dronedesk uses a standard 5 by 5 risk matrix, which is widely adopted across industries and safety management systems globally.
To view or edit the matrix, go to the Risk Assessments section in Dronedesk. The matrix allows you to evaluate risks by comparing two key factors:
Severity of consequences, which ranges from Negligible to Catastrophic
Probability or likelihood, which ranges from Extremely Improbable to Frequent
At one end of the scale, the lowest risk is a combination of Extremely Improbable and Negligible. At the opposite end, the highest risk results from a combination of Frequent and Catastrophic.
Dronedesk also allows you to assign a default score of 0, which indicates that a particular risk has not yet been scored. This is useful when you want pilots or job managers to assess and score specific risks during the job planning process.
