# Can I pre-score the risks on a Risk Assessment?

Save time by entering default risk scores into your template. This video shows you how to pre-score items before applying them to jobs.

When you create **risk assessment templates** in Dronedesk, you have the option to **pre-score the risks**.

By default, all risk scores are set to **0**, which means they are unscored. However, you can go through the template and assign **initial scores** to each risk using the 5 by 5 risk matrix. This ensures that when the template is added to a job, the risks are already scored based on your predefined values.

Even if a template is pre-scored, the **pilot can still adjust the scores** for a specific job. This flexibility allows you to provide a baseline assessment while still allowing for job-specific risk adjustments.
